    scoutmob is having a "deal" on our posters! yep, you can grab them for cheaper. because i know you need sarcastic/snarky/dumb posters in your life. or someone you know needs one. don't deny them this privilege. it's only fair.

  2. Prints & Mini Candles

    You know those funny/dumb/awesome chalkboards that we make? We decided to design some into some awesome posters! They are in our brick-and-mortar shop - and the online shop as well :)

    Here's a few designs:

    Also… we now make tiny/mini/baby/half candles! Ah and they are so cute. Half the size of our regular candles but in all the same delicious/ sometimes silly scents.

    AND we have a brand new hilarious scent…. tooth fairy breath! It smells like sweet mint and is quite lovely, actually.

  3. candles in the online shop!

    Now that the weather is cooler, we can ship the candles - - so they are in our online shop! We had to worry about the soy melting when it was hot. Josiah and I make each and every candle in our home… and it stanks like that scent for days. Ha! Just kidding, we love it, and the “stank” is actually really great.

    Buy all the candles you want and they’ll ship for a flat $6, no matter how many you buy.

    Here’s a few shop favorites: (because they are hilarious AND smell good!) 

    monkey farts. (everyone’s reaction: “oh that actually smells really good!” were you expecting us to make a bad smelling candle……)

    butter beer. yum. wizardy.

    unicorn puke. (quote that someone actually said to me this weekend: ”I don’t know why anyone would make anything called unicorn puke” because we are immature and it’s funny to us.)

    butt naked. (another weekend quote: ”Butt naked, I’m not even going to smell that”)

     

    Please go check out the other silly AND normal candle scents! When you buy a candle, you help us buy a cupcake. Or kitty food. Or zucchini. Ya know, life’s necessities.

  4. chalk sandwich board – impulse shoppers wanted

    Running the shop gives us amazing opportunities like working with awesome artists! We've now gotten to work with Kathy Phan of kathyphantastic TWO times!

    Last time, Kathy drew on our HUGE chalkboard a “Austin Texas – I love you” design. And we did a time lapse of the whole thing which is amazing to watch! Blog post on that one here.

    This time, Kathy wrote on our chalk sandwich board that we have right outside our building. It says “impulse shoppers wanted”. Bahah

    We asked on facebook for funny suggestions for our sandwich board. And this was our favorite that was suggested! Many thanks to Kathy for all her hard work – she actually had to do the design TWICE – one on each side of the board. Here she is with the other side of the sandwich board.

    If you think the board is funny, go like her kathyphantastic facebook page! She’ll think you’re… phantastic. (p.s. one of my favorite typos ever is when I wrote kathyPANTastic on instagram. haha!)

    We also just got a bunch of Kathy’s stuff in our retail shop AND our online shop! She draws lovely designs on plates and cups… and does custom work too! Aren’t you dying to have a pet portrait on a plate? (not gonna lie. I think it would be hilarious to have a portrait of our cats.)
