10ish cups of whatever little things you want to include!
in mine was:
3 cups wheat chex
2 cups rice chex
4 cups multigrain cheerios
1 cup pretzels
other options: m&ms, bagel chips, cheese crackers (goldfish, cheezits), nuts, sesame sticks, corn nuts, etc.
Mix it with:
1/4 cup olive oil
1/3 cup honey mustard (or dijon. or regular deli)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion flakes
2 teaspoons salt
Once it’s all mixed together, put it in a greased casserole pan in the oven at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Stir it every 15 minutes or so… or just take it out after 40 minutes like I did because I wanted to go to sleep. Also, we sprinkled kosher salt on top at the end. Keep it covered. You could even separate it into little portions (mason jars anyone?!) so you can easily grab some on the go.
I just made up this recipe on the fly the other day and we loved it. So tweak it to your tastes! Add more honey mustard or olive oil as you see fit. Use lots more salt. Use healthy olive oil. Add cayenne pepper. DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!
My recipe has around 200 calories for a heaping serving… That totally beats 200 calories of like 5 potato chips. It’s packed full of wheat chex, which will make you feel full… No more munchies!
Just don’t also eat tooo much of this mix! ha! portion control!
